...is an enthusiastic noise afficionado with a taste for the finer aspects of sound. Music has been a driving force for quite some time now, having been built to a near-deafening crescendo of passionate opinions and truths on lyrical stances and melody laughter. Blood and sweat oozes from the vibrating strings that shoot down the muse and bind her with cords woven from intertwining eclectically-charged soundscapes. Gonna mix it up and give it a twirl, the Mustang is tuned and poised to strike. The Beatles made me listen, the Velvets made me learn, Dylan made me glisten, The Who got me to burn. Bowie led to Iggy’s pop, Pere Ubu opened Can, Cope and Cave with Drake on top, and Hendrix is my man. Do not front. Open your ears. Outer Body Llama. Listen.
Rich Bindell - Bass and Vocals.
He's been hanging around Otis and OBL for quite some time now, sneezing
three-part harmonies like a Keebler elf allergic to Fudge Stripe dust, and
trying to take you higher. He was the lead singer/percussionist for
Pittsburgh's North Neville Blues band (Neville Street Groove) from 1990 to
1996, and served in the same capacity for D.C.'s hottest junk-sock band,
Sugarland, (not to be confused with the country version) from 1997 to 2001.
He attended the Van Morrison Vocal School of Smooth Notes and Slight Angst,
as well as Paul Simon Rhymin' College, where he studied The Beatles, Bob
Dylan, Fred Neil, Neil Young, Stephen Stills, James Taylor, Marvin Gaye,
Smokey Robinson, Ryan Adams, Elton John, and Peter Gabriel-era Genesis. His
rock and pop thesis involved a case-study in the music of Taj Mahal, The
Who, the Allman Brothers, Ween, Johnny Cash, Supergrass, Cheap Trick, Frank
Black, Led Zeppelin, Luna, Big Star, Traffic, The Band, The Flaming Lips,
The La's, The Kinks, Tom Waits, The Beatles, The Smithereens, Julian Cope,
Grateful Dead, Talking Heads, Rush, Prince, Pink Floyd, Derek and the
Dominos, the Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, and The Rolling Stones.
Andrew Keener – Drums.
